DL076	THE QUEEN’S HIGHLAND TERRIER ( Vintage Terrier Dog Pin ): I took a liking to this sweet vintage pin (c. 1950) because it was of an unusual breed. Scotland was the birthplace of many of the rough-coated, short legged Terrier breeds that are closely associated with one another, such as the Cairn, the Skye and the Scottish Terrier. These small Terriers were bred to bolt and destroy foxes, otters, badgers and other small vermin from the cairns and crags of the Highlands . I believe that this little guy is a Cairn Terrier. The stamped metal head is antique gold in color with garnet colored cabochon eyes. He is unmarked with a safety clasp pin back. Lots of expressive details shows why these terrier dogs were favorites with Queen Victoria . Her love of Scotland embraced these dear little breeds. Condition: Excellent. Size: 1 1/2” high, 1 5/8” wide, 3/8” deep.	SOLD!
DL049	THE TIE MAKES THE MAN ( Bakelite Jewelry Terrier Brooch ): You can’t help but notice such a cute Terrier Brooch. This unsigned Judith Evans design is made of phenol resin and has the look and feel of Bakelite, without the price tag. He’s dressed to go on the town in a red dotted bow tie. Made of phenol resin, it has the look and feel of Bakelite without the price tag. This doggie has lots of detail and is styled with that ‘30’s fun figural trademark. His fur is a delicious beige color and his bow tie, dots, nose and eye are separate colors laminated onto the beige - not painted on. Mirror images, the top heart has a profile of a Yorkshire Terrier face, surrounded by rhinestones on a black enamel background. All of the Yorkies are enameled with touches of glitter embedded in them. Behind the full-body Yorkie is a white rhinestone hoop with black, topaz and pale yellow crystal dangles. DL055	BOXING MATCH ( Vintage Enamel Boxer Pin ): If you are a fan of the boxer breed then this Vintage Enamel Boxer will be a perfect match for you. He is well defined, dimensional and realistic in both color and pose. His muzzle is shaded dark brown to black and there is a glimmer in his red rhinestone eye. The body is made from a gold toned metal and hallmarked with "Hc" inside of a heart. (Unknown to me.) Prancing and pretty, this champion boxer has a safety clasp pin back. Condition: Excellent. DL073	TRAVELING IN HIGH SOCIETY ( Lunch At The Ritz Bulldog Pin / Pendant ): An epic extravaganza LUNCH AT THE RITZ Pin / Pendant for serious dog lovers. The heart shaped top of the pin showcases two fierce bulldogs. The dangles include a dachshund, schnauzer, beagle and cocker spaniel done in gorgeous enamel colors. You can’t appreciate it in the photos, but the schnauzer and the beagle have multi-colored sparkles scattered in their coats, as do the bulldogs and the heart. Scattered amongst the Austrian Crystal dangles are a dog bone, newspaper, spiked buckle collar, rhinestone buckle collar and a shoe. This retired LUNCH AT THE RITZ design is named "High Society". These delicious doggies are topped with a thick coating of 24K Gold electroplate. The LUNCH AT THE RITZ hallmark is on the back, as well as featured on the tiny collars.
