TEAR DROPS OF BAKELITE ( Vintage Bakelite Jewelry Pin ): What a fabulous vintage find - a Bakelite Dangle Pin. These pins have become very scarce. I think the collectors are hanging onto them because they know that the prices have gone up. This pretty pin has a rich rust colored crescent with ivory colored celluloid chains and seven rust tear drop Bakelite dangles. The celluloid chain is of very thick, really good quality. The drops are curved inwards. There are 3 drops on the front chains and 4 on the back chain. A large wonderful pin that can freshen your accessory look and its value will only increase. The pin back is heat set and has a safety clasp. Condition: Excellent. All original. Crescent top 2" wide by 7/8" high. Each dangle 1 3/5" high by 5/8" wide. Entire pin 3 3/8" high by 2 1/2" wide.
