SATINY PEACH FRENCH IVORY ( Vintage French Bakelite Jewelry Bangle Bracelet ): Here is a peach of a Vintage French Bakelite Bracelet. The color is just wonderful and seldom seen in my experience. It is a pale peach with a darker shading of peach in the creases of the graceful design. The bangle has faux ivory markings on it, an example of the term "French Ivory". It feels like peach satin on your arm. French Bakelite has a milk base and does not test like American Bakelite. I believe that the deep peach groves may be the result of that wire trim. Condition: Excellent. A few surface scratches that blend into the faux ivory markings. Size: 1 1/3" wide, 3/8" deep. Inner opening 2 5/8".
