FRENCH PANTOMIME CLOWN PIERROT ( Vintage French Bakelite Jewelry Isadora
Necklace ): I have many requests for Pierrot themed jewelry so I am pleased to list
this wonderful Vintage French Bakelite Pierrot necklace designed by
Isadora. Pierrot is a famous character from French pantomime. He dresses
in a loose white clown suit with black pom-poms and a wide ruffled
collar edged in black. He is always portrayed in white face with a black
skull cap. Pierrot is a charming, but sad fellow, who generally looses
out to the stronger pantomime characters. This hand painted necklace,
typical of Isadora pieces, uses bold black and white beads enhanced by
two dotted stars. The arms are articulated. The back of the Pierrot is
hot stamped with the Isadora logo and reads “Isadora Paris”,
“1979”. The catch is a black screw clasp. Fun and chic, this
necklace will be one of your favorites. Condition: Excellent. Size:
20” long, Pierrot figure is 4 1/2” long, 1 7/8” wide, 1/4”
