LAMINATED
AND LOVELY ( Vintage Bakelite Jewelry Dress Clips / Earrings ): It
is really hard for me to part with these fabulous Vintage Bakelite
clips. (1930-40) They are constructed by laminating four separate colors
together to form a multi-colored leaf shape with an open center. The
colors are green, yellow, black and orange. Each of the Bakelite colors
is curved and domed to give the clips a sculptural look. Since this set
curves inward to frame the face, it would make a perfect pair of
earrings. Just flatten the clip prongs, slide on a foam clip earring pad
or use an adhesive eye glass ear pad to transform these beauties into
comfortable knock-out earrings. Condition: Excellent. Hinge is tight.
There is a patent number on the clips. Size: 1 7/8” high, 1” wide,
1/4” deep.
