ARABIAN NIGHTS SCIMITAR ( Vintage Bakelite Jewelry Pin ):
Visually striking, this Vintage Bakelite Scimitar brings to mind the
“Tales of the Arabian Nights”. A part of the “Persian” series,
this mysterious and seductive pin is quite grand in scale. (c. 1935-40)
The blade is a deep butterscotch color and the handle is hand carved
translucent rootbeer. The hilt of this “killer” pin is embellished
with gold studs and two free swinging chains. The one piece riveted pin
back has a safety clasp. Prepare to be noticed when you wear this exotic
and unforgettable Vintage Bakelite treasure. This pin is a “book
piece”, seen on page 88 of “Bakelite Pins” by Karima Parry.
Condition: Excellent. Size: 4 1/8” long, 1 5/8” wide, 1/4” thick.
