POLKA DOT HIGH STYLE ( Vintage Bakelite J. Foltz Scottie Pin ): Contemporary Bakelite artist Jim Foltz has created a striking visual effect by combining applejuice Vintage Bakelite and black and white painted polka dots. Jim hand carved this perky applejuice Scottie dog head and then dressed it up with a hand painted black and white bow. His eye, nose and tongue have been accented with black paint. He’s all ready for stepping out on the town. Finely carved, Jim Foltz pieces have organized the attention of Vintage Bakelite buyers, as well a dealers. It’s nice to see a new look to the traditional Scottie designs. They remain the most popular breed of Bakelite Dogs. There is a C clasp pin back. Condition: Excellent.
