DELICATE WEDGWOOD MUSE OF SINGING: Beautiful vintage black and white Wedgwood jasper ware cameo. To create the jasper ware cameo, a white stoneware cameo was fashioned onto a black background and then joined into one piece through a firing process. This cameo depicts the mythological motif of the muse, Melopomene, the singer. Golden beaded frame of low carat gold. The cameo can be used as a pin or pendant. Hallmarked "Wedgwood - Made in England - 174". Condition: Excellent. 1 1/2" high by 1 1/8" wide.
