NOW THIS IS A PIECE OF MOURNING JEWELRY WORTH OWNING! (Victorian Mourning Brooch): It is a 2 colored, medium brown and dark brown, table-worked hair brooch in a gold wash or gold plate mounting, ca. 1850 -1870. Two gold mounts hold the tubular hair in place. The center plaque contains the engraved name "P. A. Burr". All of the mountings are original and the C-clasp works perfectly. Condition: The hair is perfect, slight scratches on the end gold mounts. 2 1/2" long, 7/8" high.
