VINTAGE BISQUE CAT-FACED PUG DOG FIGURINE: This old fellow has held up well over the years compared to most old bisque pugs I’ve seen. He is made of hollow bisque porcelain with the cat-like appearance frequently seen in Victorian Pug Figurines - particularly those made in France. He has no chips or cracks except for a small ding to his left eye, which is barely noticeable. The most obvious sign of age and wear is the rubbing off of most of the gold gilding once covering the bells on his collar. The casting details and painting of his face are particularly nice. His head is turned like that of Dresden, Staffordshire and most Meissen Pugs in order to present a more pleasing display. He is 4" tall, 2 1/2" wide & 1 7/8" deep.
