Bronze Pug Dog ): This Viennese fellow is off to pick up his girl for
a picnic in the park. He carries a very nice woven basket filled with a
loaf of bread, a large sausage and a bottle of wine. And what could be
better than that! This is a relatively newly made
Vienna Bronze pug thus the lower price than for
the true vintage ones. The casting of the newer pieces is not as detailed
as the old ones, but they are still very charming and much more
affordable. This pug was made by the Fritz Berman foundry of
Vienna established in 1850. He bears their
hallmark a gold circle with FB surrounded by a W for Wein (Vienna).
Condition: Excellent. Size: 1 5/8 high, 1 3/8 wide, 7/8 deep.
