THE INTELLECTUAL PUG ( Vienna Bronze Pug Dog ): Pugs must have been better schooled in olden days, as judged by this little fellow reading the "Times". My pugs do watch TV (barking selectively at dogs, cats and horses) and they do try to help me type on my computer, but their use of a newspaper is quite different. When I’m trying to read one, they lie on it, and when one is on the floor of their "potty room" - well, you get the idea. Regardless, this is a charming fellow, highly representative of how the Viennese have given our favorite breed of dog the human characteristics we know they have. The trademark is that of Petri Bronzen of Vienna. Condition: Excellent. Size: 1 5/8" high, 7/8" wide, 1" deep.
