FORE! BEWARE OF PUG GOLFERS: In the early 20th century the Austrians changed their very realistic Vienna Bronze Pugs of the 19th century into human caricatures - doing all types of wonderful human activities. I really love these captivating little characters. I’ve seen hundreds and own several dozen, but this is only the 3rd Pug Golfers I’ve seen. This is a great sight. I can just picture my own pugs golfing! I don’t know exactly when it was made, but it is not one of the new acrylic painted Vienna Bronzes. It has what I think is a trademark on the bottom (pictured), but I’m not familiar with it. Condition: Excellent. It is all perfect except for some paint worn off the flag stick. Pugs 1 1/2" tall, total height 3", width 2 1/4", depth 2".
