SILVER CHAMP ( Silver Plated Pug Dog ): This handsome pug figurine feels and looks like the late 19th Century Vienna Bronze Pugs I own - in weight and molded in a very realistic manner and pose - unlike the humorous human activities engaged in by 20th Century Vienna Bronze Pugs. The mold is so realistic that you can even see the hairs of his coat and his ribs, as well as his ruff and collar. The hooker is that he is silver colored, having the appearance of silver plating. He is also clearly hallmarked with "EB" on the bottom of his right front paw. I’m quite sure he is an old pug and if anyone can give me any history based on his "EB" marking, I’d be grateful. Condition: Excellent. Size: 2 1/4" long, 2" high.
