HEY, MISTER, WANT A MATCH?: I don’t buy many pug collectibles aside from pug dog figurines because that only makes the addiction grow. But I couldn’t turn down this wonderful Victorian silver plated , pug adorned match holder (or whatever you want to hold in it). He is so handsome and shows such boldness and pride. His chiseled face contains beautiful glass eyes. The cup is decorated with 2 different basket weave type designs. Condition: Very good for his age. Neither he nor the match holder have any breaks or repairs. The pug has just enough wear in his silver coat to give him character. The match holder has wear on the bottom - inside and out - from usage. Marked on the bottom are: "Derby Silver Co.", "Quadruple Plate" and "2304". The pug is 2 3/8" high, 2 1/4" long & 1" wide. The cup is 2 1/4" high, 2" in diameter at the top & 1 3/8" at the bottom.
