EVE PEARCE PORCELAIN MOM & PUP ( Porcelain Pug Dogs ): With very few exceptions, I collect and sell only vintage and antique pug figurines, but one of those exceptions is Eve Pearce. I think she is the finest porcelain dog sculptor of modern times. Of course, I particularly love her pugs. They are just slightly caricatured showing a bit of humor. I have six of her pug creations in my personal collection. She has been producing these gems for over 25 years. She molds them by hand in hard paste porcelain and hand paints them. No two are alike. This pup and his protective mom are great examples of her skill. Condition: Excellent. Size: 3 1/2" high, 4 1/2" long.
