THE PERFECT PUG’S PERCH ( Vintage Bone China Pug Dog ): I don’t know about your pugs, but ours are fully aware that any soft pillow – whether on the floor, couch, chair or our bed – has been placed there specifically for their use and comfort. So it is not surprising to find this charming Vintage Bone China Pug firmly ensconced on her personal decorated plush velvet pillow. Bone ash is added to the clay to make Bone China – giving a smooth, white, almost translucent appearance to the surface. This one was made during the very collectible “Occupied Japan” period. The sticker on the bottom says “Fine Quality LENWILE CHINA”, Ardalt, Japan” & “Verithin” – along with the model “6488”. Condition: Excellent. Size: Pug 3” high, 3 1/4” long, 1 1/2” wide. Pillow 3 1/4” square. Total height 3 3/8”.
