PUG FAMILY FOR YOU ( Vintage Bone China Pug Dogs ):
This trio of Bone China Pugs makes a charming group for your collection.
They all have the same expectant look on their face that means – feed
me, love me or play with me! These aren’t marked, but all like these
that were marked, were made in Japan for export to the U.S.A. (labels in
English), mostly early post WW II – known as the “occupied Japan”
period in the collectable world. Bone ash is added to the clay to make
Bone China – giving a smooth, white, almost translucent appearance.
Condition: Excellent. Size: Larger sitting pug 3” high, 3” long.
Smaller sitting pug 2 1/2” high, 2 1/2” long. Lying pug 1 3/4”
high, 3” long.
