BLACK BEAUTY ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug Dog ): What a precious little black beauty of a pug, snoozing on her favorite cushion with her favorite ball. Those of you who have visited us before may have noticed that you rarely see a black pug. It isn’t that I don’t love them; it’s that I’ve never learned how to show their details in my photographs. I’m trying to learn, because I do get requests for black pugs. I asked Eve Pearce to send me one and I’m relatively happy with the photos – and I love the darling pug. I hope you will too. Eve’s pugs, made from hard paste porcelain, are not molded, but modeled by hand – so there are no two alike. Yours will always be unique. Each has felt pads on the base to prevent scratching and each bears her personal hallmark. Condition: Excellent. Size: 3” long, 1 5/8” high, 2” deep.
