FUTURE CHAMPION? ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug Dog ): I think of this as a portrait of Mom & Dad proudly posed beside their little girl taking her first turn “on the table”. All right, I’ll admit, it’s not quite like the table we see at dog shows – and she has a little work to do on her composition – but then she’s a pampered princess! However, this is another of Eve Pearce’s great pug compositions and would be a striking addition to your pug collection. It is large enough to have a display area of its own, but would also fit in nicely on a shelf with your other pugs. Eve’s pugs, made from hard paste porcelain, are not molded, but modeled by hand – so there are no two alike. Yours will always be unique. There are felt pads on the base to prevent scratching and it bears her personal hallmark. Condition: Excellent. Size: Total piece – 3 1/2” high, 8 1/2” wide, 3 1/2” deep. Lying pug – 2 3/4” high, 3 1/2” long. Sitting pug – 3 1/4” high, 3 1/4” long. Pug Pup – 2” high, 2” long.
