TICKLE MY TUMMY ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug ): I’m pleased to be able to past another in the Eve Pearce series of delightful Clown Pugs. I have in my personal collection a large (and pricey) Pearce creation with 4 Clown Pugs on it. I believe it was my suggestion that gave her the idea to make individual ones and each that I get is a new and wonderful surprise. All you pug owners are familiar with this sill pose our pugs strike when they want a tummy rub. And, of course, they always get one. Who could resist? All of the Pearce pugs, made from hard paste porcelain, are not molded, but modeled by hand – so there are no two exactly the same. Yours will always be unique. There are felt pads on the base to prevent scratching and it bears her personal hallmark. Condition: Excellent. Size: 4 1/4” long, 2” high, 2 3/8” deep.
