PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug Dog ): As Irving Berlin put it: “Dressed up like a million dollar trouper. - Trying hard to look like Gary Cooper - super duper. Come let's mix where Rockefellers - Walk with sticks or umbrellas in their mitts -Puttin' on the Ritz.” Well, maybe he’s not quite Fred Astaire, but this is surely a dandy of a pug – all ready for a black tie event and “cuttin’ the rug”. Most pug owners I know (including JJ & I) enjoy dressing their pugs up for special occasions. I may steal this outfit! Eve has perched a black top hat on his head and fitted him with a starched wing collar and a black bow tie. And he looks proud as punch – right down to his curly tail! All of Eve’s pugs - made from hard paste porcelain - are not molded, but modeled by hand, so there are no two exactly the same. Yours will always be unique. There are felt pads on the base to prevent scratching, along with her hallmark. Condition: Excellent. Size: 4 1/2” high, 3 1/2” long, 2 1/8” deep.
