OH, THAT FEELS GOOD ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug Dog ): This scratching pug looks vaguely familiar. I wonder where Eve got the idea for her? Any thoughts? Of course, you are actually looking at (and maybe thinking of adding you your collection) a truly unique Pearce Pug. I know for a fact that this is the first pug she has made of this model and I don’t know if she will be making others, or not. This pug sports a lovely lavender collar with 8, yes, count them, 8 golden bells on it. I think Pearce is the finest porcelain dog sculptor of modern times. And I particularly love her pugs. She has been producing these gems for over 25 years. She molds them by hand in hard paste porcelain and hand paints them. You can see that this pug is signed and she has felt pads on the bottom. This beauty came very close to finding a home in our display case. Condition: Excellent. Size: 3 5/8” high, 2 1/2” wide, 3 1/2” deep.
