SLEEPY BABY ( Eve Pearce Porcelain Pug Dog ): This Pearce Pug Dog touched my heart. Our baby Jade doesn’t have as thick a coat as our other pugs have had, so we frequently cover her with a baby blanket when she is sleeping. Once again Eve has captured her little pug in a pose familiar to us all – sprawled on a pillow, back legs spread out and darling curly-cue tail. She is sleeping under a typical baby blanket decorated with red flowers, leaves and vines. Pearce’s pugs are made from hard paste porcelain, not from molds, but modeled by hand – so there are no two alike. Yours will always be unique. You can see Eve’s hallmark on the base. There is a felt pad on the bottom to prevent scratching.
Condition: Excellent.
Size: Base 4 1/2" long, 3 1/2" wide. Pug 3 1/2" long, 2” wide (legs), 1 1/2" high.
