GIVE THE LADY A HAND: This carved Ivory Victorian hand brooch is one of the best I’ve ever seen. It has all of the bells and whistles. The brooch is probably a friendship or love token. Victorians were very fond of carved hands in many poses, made of a variety of materials. The ivory ones are the most sought after and certainly the most elegant. This hand is complete with a ruffled cuff and lace trim. There is a gold band on the cuff ruffle, a gold bracelet and a gold ring on the index finger. The carving is perfect and the patina is very even. Look no further. This is the hand to own! Start a trend. Wear several at once and watch people stare. Original C clasp on back. Condition: Excellent. Size: 2" long, 1/2" wide at cuff.
