FAITH AND FIDELITY ( Victorian Mourning Jewelry Ivory Cross Pendant ): This unbelievably delicate carved ivory pendant combines two of the most potent symbols of Victorian culture - the cross of the Christian faith and the ivy of loyalty and fidelity. Intricate vines and leaves entwine a cross, carved to appear as tree bark, in an open and airy design of notable grace and beauty. Dating from the mid to late 1800’s, the 10KT bale is a replacement for strength and versatility. You can add a gold chain or a string of tiny ivory beads. The high quality of the carving and the flawless condition of the ivory make this an extremely desirable wearable work of art. Condition: Excellent.
