GARNETS TAKE FLIGHT: This charming vintage butterfly pin is set with Bohemian Garnets. The faceted deep wine garnets are bead set in low carat "garnet" gold. The three larger stones are bezel set. The whole piece has an open back setting giving the stones more life and color. The shape of the butterfly is slightly domed so that it does not lie flat and darken the stones. The back has a safety catch and the pin is marked "005". Condition: Excellent. Slight bend in pin back is necessary to lock the safety catch. 1 3/8" high, 1 5/8" wide.
