THISTLE BLOSSOM IN A SCOTTISH AGATE FIELD: Ladies and Braveheart fans, here is a sweetheart of a pin featuring a purple thistle blossom and its foliage surrounded by alternating rounds of Brown and Grey Scottish Agate. Wonderful sterling silver detail work on the leaves and a setting of dainty silverwork gives this piece a beautiful harmony of composition. This kilt pin is signed and marked "Birmingham, 1905". Condition: Very good. The thistle blossom has a miniscule chip at the tip. It cannot be seen except under magnification. Size - 1 1/4" in diameter.
